I've known Tesa for about 6 years and have always been impressed with how effortless she makes motherhood seem. When we setup a lesson, I knew her makeup needed to fit her relaxed personality. Since Tesa's routine was already pretty complete for everyday, we tweaked some techniques to enhance her eyes and cheekbones. Then with subtle additions, she can add interest and drama when the situation calls for it. It was a lot of fun!
Tesa's Concerns: felt stuck with eye makeup. Any changes to what she was already doing in the morning couldn't take anymore time. She also wanted to be able to vary her makeup from staying home to going out.
My Goals: bring out her blue-green eyes without lots of eye shadow. Give her face a bit of definition. Come up with 1 or 2 additions to add a little drama to her everyday look.
The Makeup: loose mineral powder foundation | bronzer and blush to make cheekbones pop | framed her eyes by filling in her brows with a brown shadow | midtone brown shadow to make a noticeable crease | tightlined her eyes with dark brown shadow | mascara to volumize and lengthen tips of lashes | soft pink lipstick to add a bit of drama when she wants to
